Share Your World: Week 19

1. Do you believe in ghosts? Yes I do. Maybe seen one or a spirit of some kind. And when a close friend died, I felt his spirit with me briefly.
2. What is your best recipe? My mother’s corned beef casserole. True comfort food.
3. What is your most favorite smell/scent? I love the perfume called
   Chloé.
4. What subject was your favorite in all of your schooling? Why? I loved shorthand. Always loved writing. Now it would probably anything with computers.

Share Your World: Week 15

1. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why? I would move to Sweden in a heart beat. I love their life style, their food, how accepting they are, and how they value the environment and family.
2. If your were car or truck what make, model, year and color would you be? I would definitely be a Jaguar. The year and model do not matter. Black or gold would be nice colours.
3. What one thing have you not done that you really want to do? Learn to speak a second language well. I can read and write Swedish fair but to speak or understand it spoken is a challenge.
4. Where do you eat breakfast? Breakfast is usually on the soffa with my laptop on my lap.

   1. What’s your least favorite mode of transportation? Bus, at least in the US.
   2. Are you a cat, dog, goat or prefer the zoo person? Cat person.
   3. What really makes my heart sing? Art.
   4. What word or words are fun for you to say? And yes Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious counts a a fun word! I love ‘blåbär’ and ‘jaha’, two words I learned in Sweden. Blåbär means blueberries. Jaha means oh well, uh-huh, or I see.

1. Can you change a car tire? Highly doubtful!!!
2. Are you a collector of anything? I collect old postcards from my town.
3. If you HAD to change your name, what would you change it to? Probably to Emma Elise.
4. What am I wearing right now? Blue jeans and a black sweater with no shoes.
5. If you could be a tree or plant, what would you be? Weeping willow tree.

A photo of a scissor tailed fly catcher. They are so hard to get close to and this one posed so nice for me, let me get close, and stayed for a long time.

 

 

My all time fave photo. One of the last photos I took of Mom. We eating at her favourite place and we shared a martini. Oh, to return to that moment…..
