Share Your World: Week 15
- If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why? I would move to Sweden in a heart beat. I love their life style, their food, how accepting they are, and how they value the environment and family.
- If your were car or truck what make, model, year and color would you be? I would definitely be a Jaguar. The year and model do not matter. Black or gold would be nice colours.
- What one thing have you not done that you really want to do? Learn to speak a second language well. I can read and write Swedish fair but to speak or understand it spoken is a challenge.
- Where do you eat breakfast? Breakfast is usually on the soffa with my laptop on my lap.

Blogg 05/03/2012 doctor, Hugo, Red Barn…
Weather remains too warm. It is to be almost 80F tomorrow. I am not liking this. Maybe rain mid-week. I do not believe it.
Saturday I worked in Lindsborg at the Red Barn Studio. Quiet day. Fun artist is there. I like having her in the studio. Marsha was there all day. No tours. Got a lot of work done in the owner’s database. Nothing is put in the same. They will all match eventually.
Sunday was a quiet day for me. No lunch out. No Messiah. And Willie never suggested we go to town in the evening. Of course not. What was I thinking!
Today I had a fasting lab test. Thought I would die last nite. Wanted food and water. Then this afternoon I saw my family doctor. My cholesterol was great!!! I was scared it would not be. I got a tetanus shot and a whooping cough shot. Will get a shingles shot next year. Doctor has a new nurse. She is sooo nice. And paid me 2 compliments. *2* I am not used to that. She made my day big time!!!
Late this afternoon I watched Hugo. I loved it!! A cool movie.
Busy busy week this week. Probably good I had a restful sunday. Be my only day of rest this week!

Blogg 02/03/2012 Swedish group, banking…
Weather remains too warm. It was almost 70F yesterday. Today we are only 50F. Of course, we have had no rain. We were supposed to today but it was sunny!! Had a little wind that was a bit chilly.
Yesterday I met Janet, Beth, and Marian at Moka’s for lunch. And hours of talking!! Had so much fun!! I am lucky to have such good friends and we are lucky there is such a wonderful place as Moka’s.
Today was my Swedish group in Lindsborg. There was only 8 of us there. So sad. We met at the local library. I love meeting there. Easy day for me. No coffee to fix. We looked at some old books, photos of a friend who lives in Ecuador, and we reviewed some Swedish words that were part of a book we are reading. A fun get-together.
I took myself out to lunch at Jalisco’s, but I had no appetite. Not sure why. Then I drove to Jerry Ivey Park in Salina. I took photos of the ducks and geese. Then I read for a while. Then I had an app’t at First Bank Kansas. I am closing a bank acc’t and changing to First Bank. My present bank charges me if I use the drive through or go in to the teller. Ridiculous. Plus the First Bank is who does the bus trips I go on.
